Weekend coverage required: Full weekend every 6 weeks
Description:
Physical Therapist needed for days 4x10s, 08:30 - 19:00, including participation in weekend and holiday rotation.
Every 6 weeks, a full weekend is required, with flex days provided during the week before and after to maintain a total of 40 hours.
The patient-to-therapist ratio is 1:1.
Candidates must hold a relevant state license and current BLS certification.
Strong skills required include cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, sports medicine, and various assessment techniques.
Experience with assistive devices, body mechanics, pain assessment, and discharge planning is essential.
The candidate should be proficient in assessing skin integrity, strength testing, and implementing home exercise programs.
Candidates must be able to manage long-term and short-term goals and create a plan of care for each patient.
Weekend flexibility and the ability to float as needed are important for this role.
