East Regional HR Field Partner

Nuclear Care Partners
East Region | Travel Required | Full-Time

Who We Are

At Nuclear Care Partners (NCP), our mission is deeply personal. We provide in-home care to former Department of Energy workers-our nation's atomic heroes-honoring their service with compassion, dignity, and clinical excellence.

As we continue to grow nationally, we are seeking an East Regional HR Field Partner to join our HR leadership team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in the field, builds strong relationships with leaders and employees, and brings both empathy and structure to employee relations, compliance, and performance management.

About the Role

The East Regional HR Field Partner serves as a strategic liaison between Human Resources and field operations across the East region. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this role partners closely with regional and branch leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, foster strong employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

This is a hands-on, people-first role supporting employee relations, leading investigations, guiding leaders through complex HR matters, and helping create positive, compliant, and high-performing work environments.

What You'll Do

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace concerns.
  • Partner with Regional and Branch leadership to implement HR strategies that support business goals and operational performance.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance and ensuring effective communication.
Employee Relations & Investigations
  • Act as the primary lead for employee relations and investigations, including complaints, disciplinary actions, and management-level terminations.
  • Advise and coach leaders on progressive discipline, performance improvement, and employee development.
  • Attend and facilitate disciplinary meetings when appropriate.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including home health-specific regulations.
  • Investigate and respond to agency charges related to discrimination, wage and hour issues, and other employment matters.
  • Partner with legal counsel as needed to prepare responses and mitigate risk.
  • Act as liaison for workers' compensation matters and participate in unemployment hearings when required.
Retention, Performance & Workforce Support
  • Track and analyze employee turnover and retention trends; develop strategies to improve retention.
  • Guide managers through performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
  • Support and oversee patient care staffing processes, including hiring support, performance discussions, discipline, compensation, and staff relations.
Operational & Cross-Functional Support
  • Provide HR policy interpretation and direction to branches and remote locations.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant HR records; audit files and systems as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between HR, operations, and external agencies.
  • Complete projects and assignments as directed by the Head of Human Resources.
  • Travel across the East region as needed to support field teams.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, investigations, employment law, and performance management.
  • Excellent computer and technology skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly within the East region.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR and/or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams.
  • Healthcare, home health, or regulated industry experience.
Why Join Nuclear Care Partners
  • Purpose-driven organization serving former Department of Energy workers.
  • High-impact role with visibility and influence.
  • Collaborative HR leadership environment.
  • Opportunity to shape culture, retention, and employee experience.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
