Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing leadership to the department, overseeing daily operations, managing and developing departmental staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient care. You will oversee multiple imaging-related nursing groups, including MRI Nursing, Radiology Nursing, Non-Invasive Nursing, MHROH Nursing, and others as assigned. The role involves close collaboration with imaging department counterparts to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.

- Must possess a BSN
- Required: 3 or more years of RN experience in Radiology
- Required: 2 or more years of ICU experience
- Required: 2 or more years of Supervisory experience
- Panel Interview
You will manage a team of 20 members.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors of Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required or documented degree plan and timeframe to complete the Bachelor’s in Nursing.
For clinical manager roles in Magnet-designated hospitals or those pursuing Magnet designation, a Bachelor’s in Nursing is mandatory at the time of hire or promotion.
Licenses/Certifications:
Current State of Texas license or a temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
Certification in Basic Life Support.
Professional certification in the clinical area or management is preferred.
Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit standards.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
Three (3) or more years of experience in the clinical area of practice and a minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory or management role.
For Clinical Manager II: an additional two (2) years of experience (totaling 3 years) in a supervisory or management position.
Principal Accountabilities:
Manage the daily operations of a patient care department, ensuring proper staffing, planning for continuity of care, and taking departmental call, while providing direct patient care as needed.
Provide operational oversight for multiple imaging nursing groups, including MRI Nursing, Radiology Nursing, Non-Invasive Nursing, and MHROH Nursing, addressing departmental demands.
Collaborate with imaging leadership and interdisciplinary partners to support aligned workflows, coordinated care delivery, and achieve high-quality outcomes.
Engage with physicians, management team members, and stakeholders to address strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
Participate in ongoing evaluations of programs, processes, and desired client-centered outcomes.
Consider the diverse needs of patients throughout their continuum of care, providing excellence in service according to established service standards and optimizing patient experience.
Ensure adequate scheduling and staffing; recruit, retain, and develop staff; provide performance feedback and timely input for staff performance reviews.
Adhere to all regulatory standards and Texas Board of Nursing requirements.
Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, including budgetary specifications for time management, supply management, and quality of service.
Promote individual professional growth by fulfilling continuing education requirements and supporting department goals that contribute to the organization's success; serve as a preceptor, mentor, and resource for less experienced staff.
Demonstrate commitment to our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences. Model Memorial Hermann's service standards in providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences for patients and our workforce.
