Job Title: Radiology Technologist (C-Arm) – Weekly Thursday Coverage

Position Type: PRN / Weekly Coverage

Vital Medical Staffing is looking for a dependable Radiology Technologist with C-Arm experience to provide consistent coverage every Thursday. This role is a great fit for someone who's confident in the operating room, works well alongside surgical teams, and genuinely cares about patient safety and quality imaging.

You'll be responsible for operating a C-arm to provide real-time X-ray imaging during procedures. This position supports physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to help procedures run smoothly and safely in fast-paced environments.

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare, position, and operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment before and during procedures

  • Ensure equipment is properly set up and ready, often in sterile environments

  • Position patients for optimal imaging while explaining procedures and maintaining comfort

  • Capture high-quality images and provide real-time imaging support to physicians

  • Follow all radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff

  • Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and procedural teams

  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with basic equipment checks and upkeep

Work environment:

  • Operating rooms

  • Orthopedic and surgical settings

  • Interventional radiology and pain management clinics

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Radiology Technologist license (as required by state and facility)

  • Proven experience operating C-arm imaging equipment

  • Current TB test

  • Active CPR/BLS certification

    • CPR/BLS must be instructor-led and in person (online-only courses are not accepted)

  • Reliable transportation

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Compassion for patients and a dedication to quality care

  • Ability to work PRN and accept last-minute shifts

    • Our facilities rely on us for urgent coverage, so flexibility and responsiveness are an important part of this role

  • Must be reliably available every Thursday
