Material Handler/Inventory Specialist

This role is central to maintaining the efficient flow of materials within the facility, encompassing the movement, storage, and accurate tracking of all goods used in production and fulfillment.

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 1st & 2nd shift
Pay Rate: $17-$19 /hr DOE
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Experience: 3+ Years Recent Forklift and Warehouse

Material Handler/Inventory Specialist Core Duties:
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification may be required).
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures, particularly regarding the safe operation of equipment and proper stacking of goods.
  • Loading and Unloading: Efficiently and safely load and unload incoming raw materials, components, and outgoing finished goods from trucks, staging areas, and production lines.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately track and maintain current inventory levels using internal inventory management systems (WMS) and physical counts, ensuring data integrity.
  • Storage and Organization: Safely move and stage materials to their designated storage locations (racks, shelves, and bins), optimizing space and accessibility.
  • Order Picking: Accurately select and pull materials and components required by the production floor or for customer orders, ensuring timely delivery to work centers.
