Fundraising Coordinator

Time's Up is seeking a fundraiser coordinator. Time's Up is a 35 year-old NYC direct action environmental organization with a wide range of campaigns and events. We work to promote bicycle activism in the city and grassroots efforts in the East Village's community gardens. In 2012, Time's Up started the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space, which is also located in the East Village. Time's Up and MoRUS work closely together to advance campaigns that promote our shared message. As a result, there are a wide range of fundraising possibilities. Time's Up is a 501(c)(3), which makes a variety of grants available to us. Since environmental issues are in the forefront of the city's agenda right now, this is a great time to promote our work.

Fundraising experience is required. We are looking for someone who has any additional experience/enthusiasm for:

  • grant searching and grant writing
  • brainstorming fundraising ideas
  • increasing our membership

Much of the work can be done from home. Fundraising committee meetings are held periodically. We are a volunteer run group and are looking for people with high initiative and drive for this particular opportunity.
