Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay Range: $23+/hour
Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 pm - 6:30 am
What's the Job?
- Respond safely and efficiently to maintenance and repair needs of equipment and machinery
- Ensure safety is prioritized by following all safety programs and promoting a safety-oriented culture
- Coordinate and schedule repairs with the area supervisor and communicate repair schedules to affected team members
- Troubleshoot, plan, and execute repairs, locating and preparing parts as needed
- Document all repairs thoroughly and develop preventative maintenance procedures and schedules
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in Mechatronics, Automotive, Diesel Mechanics, or related fields preferred
- 3+ years of maintenance-related experience in machine repair, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing, or related areas
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and computer numerical control (CNC) is helpful
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with the ability to support and train team members
