We're looking for an AV Technician to join our Scottsdale team-someone with hands-on experience in smart-home installation, wiring, and networking who's ready to take the next step in their craft. You'll collaborate with lead techs and project managers to bring high-end automation systems to life for discerning clients.
What You'll Do
- Install and configure AV and smart-home systems including Control4, Savant, or Crestron
- Pull, label, and terminate structured wiring for audio, video, and network systems
- Mount TVs, speakers, racks, and related components with precision and care
- Configure routers, switches, and wireless networks for seamless system performance
- Assist with basic programming and troubleshooting of automation platforms
- Perform quality checks and system testing before handoff to project management
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Communicate clearly with clients, builders, and teammates-representing Oasis with professionalism and courtesy
- 3-5 years of experience in residential AV, low-voltage, or home automation installation
- Familiarity with Control4, Crestron, Savant, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (routers, switches, IP addressing)
- Experience reading and following construction drawings and wiring schematics
- Comfort with ladders, lifts, and hand/power tools
- Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and team-minded
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Competitive pay based on experience ($25-$32/hr range)
