AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) that is available for the 2025/2026 school year.
Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements:
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
- California Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L)
- Fingerprint/TB clearance
- Ability to uphold board policies and follow administrative procedures
- Must have experience in identifying students with exceptional needs
- At least 1 year of successful therapy experience in educational setting.
- BLS/CPR Cert.
- Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location
- Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset
- Contract through the 2025/2026 school year - 37.5 to 40 hours per week
- Contract follows the academic district calendar
- Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
- Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
- Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
- Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- $2,437.50 - $2,625.00 per week
