Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team (OT/PT/ST)
  • Provide classroom-based strategies for:
    • Processing information
    • Social skills development
    • Attention to task
    • Time management
  • Recommend accommodations related to:
    • Communication and speech
    • Social interaction
    • Following multi-step commands
  • Collaborate hands-on with instructors in vocational training areas
  • Support students at internship sites
  • Conduct SLP-related evaluations and assessments
  • Adapt services to meet individual student needs

Qualifications

  • Licensed Speech & Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with students or vocational rehabilitation populations preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility in scheduling and service delivery
