Dietary Aide/ Cook

Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri has a Full Time Entry Level Cook positions open No experience necessary will train the right person.

Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri is a Joint Commission accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility specifically designed for adolescents age 13-18. We focus on providing exceptional treatment and support to children, adolescents, and their families.

The Cook's responsibilities include some of the following:

• Ensures meals are ready at a specified time.

• Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus.

• Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same.

• Test's food being cooked to ensure doneness. Adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed.

• Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized.

Qualified candidates should have the following:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED

• Able to work the schedule as prescribed for the department

- Must be at least 21 years of age
