Radiology Physician Job Details
- Position Type: Locum tenens radiology physician (contract/travel)
- Location: Remote coverage for Leesburg, Florida (34748)
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency, Neuro, and General Radiology
- Imaging Modalities: X-ray (XR), CT, MRI (MR), Ultrasound (US), Fluoroscopy
- Shifts: Monday-Friday 12am-8am, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday/Sunday 6am-2pm
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Hours per Week: 40
- Start Date: December 29, 2025
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)
- Hourly Pay Rate: $300/hr
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,000-$7,500
- Board Certification in Radiology (required)
- Active Florida medical license (required)
- DEA registration (required)
- Clean malpractice history (required)
- Expertise in code stroke (CT Perfusion), MRI, and CT abdominal/pelvis exams
- Minimum 1 year post-residency radiology experience
- Ability to indicate shift preference during application
- Interpret diverse imaging studies: X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy
- Provide remote radiology coverage for emergency, neuro, and general cases
- Deliver accurate and timely reads for 90-100 studies per 8-hour shift
- Collaborate with referring clinicians to support patient care decisions
- Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in radiologic interpretations
