Job Summary

The Enterprise applications team is looking for a Software Engineer to join the team. Though this individual will be interacting with full stack technologies, there is an emphasis on back-end technologies (specifically .NET). This team is building high-visibility, enterprise capabilities to underpin our diverse software landscape. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the enterprise technology platform and help drive business value with emerging technologies. Further, you will embrace craftsmanship and innovation to develop a best-of-breed experience for our engineering community. Come join us and be part of a growing team

Work Location

This not a remote position. Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days/week) for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. The position can be based in West Bend or Madison.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Requirements:
  • .NET & REST expertise
  • Microservices experience
  • Familiarity with API specification and practices
  • Automated unit, integration, and regression testing
  • CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy and release code to the cloud
  • Continuous advocacy of technical craftsmanship and preferred/best practices
  • Review and oversight of peer proposals and solutions
Practical Experience With One or More of the Following:
  • Cloud experience (Microsoft Azure preferred)
  • Event driven design Azure Service Bus / NServiceBus)
  • Python and FastAPI
  • Prompt Engineering
  • React frontend development. Experience with micro-frontends.

Salary Statement

The salary range for this position is $94,205 - $117,756.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
