Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered by a physician. Your responsibilities will include administering medical gases, providing aerosol therapy, analyzing blood specimens, conducting patient testing, and operating respiratory equipment. Additionally, you will assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, educate patients, and maintain safety and infection control practices.

This position will involve caring for patients across various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Mechanical ventilation responsibilities will be taken on only after successful completion of a Respiratory Therapy program.

Qualifications Needed:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist certification required.
  • (CRT-State) Certified Respiratory Therapist or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or relevant degree.
