Bistro Attendant

Position Scope:

The Bistro Attendant prepares food orders, serves meals or beverages to patrons, and coordinates kitchen activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promotes the property positively and effectively communicates the organization's values to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the community.

Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service is preferred.

Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service.

Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.

Organize and maintain a clean service area.

Ensure supplies are stocked and notify the Director of Culinary Services when supplies are low.

Ensures guest satisfaction through bistro area cleanliness.

Supports a positive and professional image through actions and dress.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of restaurant experience.
• Bistro experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Must have a strong understanding of the English language, sufficient to speak, read and write.
