Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kitchens Electromechanical Technician
Full Time Kitchens Maintenance Technician 2, La Crosse, WI: Kwik Trip, Inc.'s Kitchens department is looking for a well-rounded Maintenance Technician.
Job Description:
As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of modern automated process systems in our vastly changing Kitchen's facility.
Regular tasks include:
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures
- Communicate with operators and management team
- Ensure day to day productivity and operational efficiencies are achieved
- Perform emergency maintenance as required
- Coordinate with vendors for necessary repairs
- Inspect facilities and equipment on a regular basis
- 2 years automation experience and/or training
- Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC's and supporting control devices
- Strong industrial electronic and mechanical background
- Ability to work well alone and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
- Accurate/detail oriented
- Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects
- Ability to support and meet department deadlines
- Possess good problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics and manuals
- Good working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Welding experience is a plus
- All candidates must be able to work safely and within food safety and regulatory standards
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures in the food industry is a plus
Physical qualifications: stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift; bend/reach/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently; lift/carry 50 pounds frequently; lift/carry up to 80 pounds occasionally.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position on 3rd shift. Monday - Friday 9pm - 5am. Premium pay is offered additional $2.00/hr for the times worked between 8:00pm - 6:00am and $4.00/hr for the times worked between Friday 7:30pm - Monday 6:59am.
