Job Title: Apprentice Field Service Technician

Summary:
Stratton Sales & Service has been Utah's trusted leader in bakery equipment maintenance and installation since 1969. We're looking for an Apprentice Field Service Technician to join our team and grow into a skilled, full-time technician role. This position provides hands-on training and experience in maintaining and installing bakery equipment for retail and wholesale bakeries.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, customer-service oriented, and capable of working independently once trained.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Replace bearings, gears, and electrical parts
  • Understand and assist with troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Deliver excellent customer service during on-site visits
  • Safely operate power tools and machinery
  • Work independently and demonstrate self-motivation
  • Read and interpret schematics and diagrams
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members
  • Maintain attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
  • Lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Work overtime as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Utah driver's license with a clean record (no DUI convictions)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (drug free workplace)
  • Must pass E-Verify employment authorization
Physical Requirements:
  • Work performed in shop and field environments
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Lifting up to 60 lbs
