Now Hiring: Warehouse Supervisor | Chicago Heights, IL
I'm partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in the south suburbs of Chicago to identify a strong Warehouse Supervisor who enjoys being hands-on and leading from the floor.
This is a mid-level leadership role overseeing raw materials warehouse operations in a production environment. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and take pride in safety, accuracy, and team accountability, this could be a great fit.
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations (raw materials, inbound freight, production fulfillment)
- Lead and support warehouse staff with a strong focus on safety and accountability
- Coordinate cross-functionally with production and operations
- Monitor inventory, optimize warehouse space, and improve efficiency
- Ensure accurate system data and material flow
- Support performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
What they're looking for:
- 3+ years of warehouse or manufacturing supervision experience (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in industrial / plant / metals or heavy manufacturing environments a plus
- Comfortable working on the production floor and outdoors
- Forklift experience and safety-first mindset
