Recruiter - Portland or Hood River, OR

Sightline Intelligence is the leader in onboard video processing. We are an agile, innovative company developing onboard video processing systems for the autonomous vehicle industry (UAV, drone, robot, etc.). We are looking for a talented recruiter to help join our growing team.

Purpose of Position

The internal recruiter role will collaborate with different departments throughout the company to recruit top talent to our growing team.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Effectively communicate Sightline's value proposition as an employer to candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to write and post job requisitions to execute against the Sightline hiring plan.
  • Manage complete recruiting process: reviewing resumes, executing phone screens, coordinating interviews, and completing reference and background checks.
  • Actively encourage top talent to apply to open requisitions and build a pipeline of candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, networking, etc.)
  • Work closely with Human Resources and hiring managers to onboard new hires.
  • Manage multiple open requisitions and priorities in a quick-moving environment.
Education and Experience Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, HR management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in-house recruitment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
Beneficial Experience (preferred, not required)
  • Experience in high tech field with specialization in engineering (embedded software, machine learning/artificial intelligence, and hardware).
  • Experience with ADP as a recruiting and applicant tracking tool.
  • Familiarity with Hood River and Portland, Oregon markets.


Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary range for this position is $80K to $95K annually, depending on experience.

Compensation includes salary, 11 paid holidays, PTO (20 days earned over the first year), health insurance (100% Sightline covered for HDHP with HSA). Premiums fully paid by Sightline for dental, vision, and life/disability insurance. 401(k) matching, incentive plan, Sightline paid OR PFMLI coverage, schedule flexibility, parental leave, and education reimbursement.

About Sightline

Sightline Intelligence has three offices: Hood River, OR, Portland, OR, and Brisbane, Australia. The Hood River office includes sales, software engineering, and support teams. Our Portland office includes manufacturing, software, hardware engineering, and QA teams. The two offices are in constant communication and get together regularly to discuss ongoing projects and new opportunities. We work in an open office setting, actively communicating about projects and customers throughout the day. Sightline is a member of the Gorge Technology Alliance and regularly sponsors Capstone teams at Portland State University.
