What You'll Do

As a Warranty Technician, you'll ensure top-quality installations and reduce warranty issues through proactive troubleshooting, training, and accountability. You'll work closely with field teams and leadership to maintain Green Air's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to warranty calls and resolve HVAC system issues promptly.

• Diagnose workmanship errors vs. equipment failures and document findings with photos and reports.

• Manage warranty parts ordering and returns through the Service Department.

• Perform quality checks on start-up sheets and ensure accurate documentation.

• Provide hands-on training and coaching to field employees to improve craftsmanship.

• Collaborate with project managers and foremen to correct deficiencies and maintain schedules.

• Attend project kick-offs and vendor training sessions for new equipment.

• Analyze warranty trends and report findings to leadership for continuous improvement.

Requirements

What You Bring

Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED; HVAC trade school preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting

• Excellent communication and coaching skills

• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (Procore experience a plus)

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical & Work Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally

• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods

• Work in hot and cold weather conditions

• Operate in open work areas with moderate noise

• Travel to job sites as needed
