Our Casualty Claims department seeks a motivated and experienced Bodily Injury Claims Manager to lead a dedicated team of professionals specializing in attorney-represented automotive liability claims. In this pivotal role, you will oversee complex investigations, coverage decisions, liability assessments, and bodily injury claim resolutions, including settlement and litigation strategies. Your expertise in litigation processes will help us enhance the handling of these claims.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Inspire and mentor your team to provide outstanding customer service that builds trust and loyalty.
  • Utilize your property and casualty insurance knowledge to assist team members in resolving complex inquiries and claims.
  • Tailor your leadership style to foster individual growth and ensure exceptional performance from all team members.
  • Grant authority for evaluations exceeding personal assigned limits and collaborate on claims that surpass your authority.
  • Monitor and assess team performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure your team maintains compliance with industry regulations while delivering exceptional service.
  • Respond to escalated customer concerns with professionalism and empathy, exemplifying GEICO's commitment to service excellence.
  • Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements that elevate the customer experience.
  • Be a go-to resource for team members on insurance inquiries, providing ongoing mentorship and training.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience specifically in Automotive Bodily Injury cases, with a strong focus on litigated claims.
  • Active Adjuster license is required.
  • Proven ability to assess needs and guide team members in negotiation for claim settlements.
  • Experience with various claims tools, supporting associates as needed.
  • Strong commitment to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Deep understanding of Casualty claims, including industry regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in motivating and developing high-performing teams within a customer-centric framework.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of surpassing performance goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to different individuals and situations.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions and improve customer outcomes.
