We are seeking candidates for Shipping Clerk roles. Compensation for these opportunities ranges between $18.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? As a Shipping Clerk, you'll play a critical role in coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting smooth logistics operations. This position thrives in a fast-paced environment that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What you will do as a Shipping Clerk:
  • Prepare, package, and label products for shipment with accuracy and care
  • Verify orders against shipping documents and ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Create and maintain shipping records in the system for traceability
  • Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups to meet delivery deadlines
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for quality and completeness
  • Maintain a clean, organized shipping area and follow safety guidelines
What you need to be a Shipping Clerk:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and shipping software
  • Attention to detail for verifying orders and documentation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude #metrojobs
