Job Title: Experienced Mammography Technologist (6-Week Contract)
Location: Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $60/hr
Start Date: 03/10/2025
ProTouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 6-week contract at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality mammography exams, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations. You will also ensure quality control of mammography equipment, perform weekly QC checks, and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic mammography exams, including advanced procedures.
- Conduct weekly and monthly quality control tests on mammography equipment.
- Assess patient conditions and clearly explain procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging results.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- ARRT certification and IEMA licensure.
- Advanced Mammography Certification by ARRT.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a radiographer.
- CPR Certification.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- 2 years' experience with diagnostic/procedures.
- Experience with Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) imaging.
