Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: El Monte, CA
Duration: 2025-2026 School Year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $75/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic school team in El Monte, CA for the 2025-2026 academic year. This full-time role involves conducting student evaluations, delivering individualized therapy services, and maintaining accurate documentation in alignment with each student's plan of care and physician's orders.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress

Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Minimum Requirements:
-
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required depending on state or contract)

Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current CPR certification (if applicable)

Completion of TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
