Job Description

A well-established and growing professional services firm is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join its Orlando, FL office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong experience in civil site design and infrastructure development to contribute to impactful projects and support civil site development projects, including water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering calculations, grading and drainage plans, and technical reports.

• Manage permitting processes and coordinate with regulatory agencies.

• Conduct construction administration, including site visits and coordination with clients and contractors.

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.

• Strong understanding of stormwater hydraulics and hydrology.

• Experience preparing technical specifications and bid documents.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with small transportation and drainage improvement projects.

• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

• Client-focused mindset with a proactive, team-oriented approach.

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

This position is based in the Orlando office, with a work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am - 11:30 am. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
