As a Trauma Prevention Coordinator RN, you will lead and organize injury prevention initiatives within our trauma program. Collaborate with community professionals to enhance trauma care and provide education to healthcare providers.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Leading injury prevention initiatives across the healthcare system.
- Ensuring compliance with trauma care documentation and standards.
- Developing communication strategies for EMS and referral facilities.
- Partnering with departments to promote injury prevention.
- Assessing the effectiveness of trauma prevention programs.
- Creating educational initiatives for targeted community populations.
- Participating in Trauma committee meetings to share insights on education and prevention programs.
Qualifications:
- Current benefits include obtaining Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
