Mental Health Technician

Pay rate :$28/hr on W-2
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Open Positions: 1
Shift: Nights - 8-hour shifts
Shift Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Unit: Psych / Mental Health
Job Description:
The Farley Center is an 84-bed facility serving an adult population. The facility offers three levels of treatment including detox, residential programs, and partial hospitalization. House supervisor support is available either on-site or on call. The facility does not have onsite security but is monitored through camera systems. Support teams include MDs, NPs, PAs, counselors, and social workers.
Work Environment & Expectations:
- Voluntary treatment environment
- No restraints unless extremely necessary
- No injections
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Must be empathetic, patient-centered, and supportive toward addiction recovery
- Must be comfortable being active and on your feet throughout the shift
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mental Health Technician (MHT)
- "Handle With Care" certification (can be completed onsite if needed)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Navy Blue, Grey, or other dark-colored scrubs
- Standard facility EHR
