Salary: $75,000 - $93,000 USD (Based on Experience)

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years of relevant experience in diesel engine mechanics.
  • Good knowledge of diagnostics and repairs in diesel engines.
  • Familiarity with Detroit Diesel Series 60, Cummins ISX, and Caterpillar engines.
  • Skills in transmission/transaxle, brakes, electrical/electronic troubleshooting, diesel engine performance, engine repair, and heating/air conditioning systems.
  • A strong focus on safety, compliance, and following inspection procedures.
  • Bilingual skills: Spanish & English.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform diagnostics and repairs on Detroit Diesel Series 60, Cummins ISX, and Caterpillar engines, ensuring reliable engine performance.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Participate in preventive maintenance activities to extend the life and efficiency of engines. Assist in developing maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
  • Technical Skills: Apply skills in transmission/transaxle, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, diesel engine performance, engine repair, and HVAC systems.
  • Record Keeping and Compliance: Keep accurate records of all diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance activities. Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards.

  • Habilidades en transmisión/transaxle, frenos, solución de problemas eléctricos/electrónicos, rendimiento de motores diésel, reparación de motores y sistemas de calefacción/aire acondicionado.
  • Fuerte enfoque en seguridad, cumplimiento y seguimiento de procedimientos de inspección.
  • Certificación en áreas relevantes es ventajosa.

Responsabilidades:
  • Diagnóstico y Reparaciones: Realizar diagnósticos y reparaciones en motores Detroit Diesel Serie 60, Cummins ISX y Caterpillar, asegurando un rendimiento fiable del motor.
  • Mantenimiento Preventivo: Participar en actividades de mantenimiento preventivo para extender la vida y eficiencia de los motores. Ayudar en el desarrollo de horarios de mantenimiento para reducir el tiempo de inactividad.
  • Habilidades Técnicas: Aplicar habilidades en transmisión/transaxle, frenos, sistemas eléctricos/electrónicos, rendimiento de motores diésel, reparación de motores y sistemas HVAC.
  • Mantenimiento de Registros y Cumplimiento: Mantener registros precisos de todas las actividades de diagnóstico, reparaciones y mantenimiento. Asegurar que todo el trabajo cumpla con las normas regulatorias.
