Continuity Project Manager / Staff Officer (Action Officer) to support the National Leadership Command Capabilities Office (NLCC) staff onsite in the Pentagon in the area of Continuity, ensuring resilience in overall national C3 capabilities supporting continuity of government operations. NLCC provides information integration, program support, technology awareness and robust C3 capabilities.
The overall task is to provide government-site support to the DoD National Leadership Command Capabilities Office in the Pentagon including:
- Interagency C3 support National Leadership Command, Control and Communications
- The Continuity of Government Communications Team assist in COG planning for senior government leadership
- NLCC Program Oversight ensure leadership is aware of issues attend working group meetings
- Technology Insertion Alert the staff to technology and procedures for improved resiliency
Immediate Crisis Response and Surge Position: The Continuity positions role is to ensure that the functions of the National Leadership Command Capability and the architecture to ensure those functions Communications, etc., are effective and improving to meet new technologies and threats. Ensure that mission critical facilities can operate in all scenarios and against all threats.
Deliverables include briefings, schedules, implementation plans, exercise plans, white papers, budget inputs, requirements analysis, meeting attendance and summaries, recommendations and a monthly report.
Security: TS Security Clearance, eligible for SCI required.
Location: Pentagon
Urgency: Immediate. This is a time-urgent critical billet.
