Position Management is part of Securities Operations and is responsible for Settlement, Stock Loan and Asset Servicing processing and controls for Equity & Fixed Income Products. The New York Client Service Group (CSG) is based in Jersey City and consists of 12 members, with colleagues performing similar roles in London and Hong Kong. The team provides single point of contacts to internal and external clients for all their Asset Servicing needs. The team primarily supports the Prime Brokerage business, dealing directly with many hedge fund clients.

We seek an individual to support the NY CSG team, helping them with their daily client reports as well as adhoc tasks and projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Running daily team reports.

- Sending adhoc advisements to internal reps.

- Researching corporate actions on certificated securities via DTC, Bloomberg & company Investor Relations.

- Adhoc projects as required.

Skills & Requirements

Skills:

- Prior Operations experience or comparable experience.

- Basic knowledge of equities and fixed income securities.

- Strong communication skills.

- Good organizational skills, ownership of issues, eye for detail and thoroughness.

- Teamwork orientation.

- Proficient in MS Excel, Word & Powerpoint.

- Prior Corporate Action experience would be beneficial but not essential.

- Experience of DTCC & Bloomberg system as well as dealing with company Investor Relations.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
