Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and design firm based in California. We are hiring a Project Manager III to support our Facilities/Aviation/Transportation Sector. The Senior Project Manager manages the development and implementation of work packages and Task Orders with thegoal of planning and executing future construction/modernization work. The Senior Project Manager may act as LAWA's primary representative on a single project or multiple projects and ensures that designers and contractors are complying with LAWA standards, including CEQA/NEPA regulations. Facilitates the planning and coordination of multiple LAWA stakeholders and Airport Operations departments. Reports to LAWA leadership and assists in the messaging/communications plan to LAWA customers.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the development and implementation of work packages and Task Orders.
- May provide direction and input on projects from the design development stage through construction.
- Ensures Designers and Contractors are meeting CEQA/NEPA and/or Entitlement requirements.
- Assists in facilitating coordination with other LAWA divisions and regulatory agencies (Planning, FAA, TSA, AQMD, SHPO, EPA, etc.) as appropriate.
- Coordinates messaging plan, notices, contingency planning and other tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, PE, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional licensure and/or certifications.
- 10 years or more of experience, preferably on airport projects
- Experience with projects more than $50 million in value.
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
- Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred.
Salary Range: $165,000 to $195,000 per year
Work Environment: Onsite
