Responsibilities- Arrive at the property in uniform at the scheduled time.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Constantly check drink quality, consistency and presentation.
- Be familiar with all beverage-related procedures and equipment.
- Create specialty cocktails to enhance the guest experience.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of bar supplies.
- Know and adhere all emergency procedures and work to prevent accidents.
- Collect money for drinks served.
- Balance cash receipts.
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
- Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking or ordering transportation for intoxicated patrons.
- Clean glasses, utensils, bar equipment, bar area, work areas, and tables.
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
- Service oriented, must have a professional attitude, you will be dealing with high-end customers.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and responsible serving policies.
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and other beverages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid bartending license (if required).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
