Job Description:

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
  • The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making.
  • This role requires strong analytical, visualization, and communication skills to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision making.
  • Create and optimize data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and governance across all reports and dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end users on Power BI tools and functionalities.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and data analytics.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting based on stakeholder needs across the Sales Analytics Group.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Support reporting efforts within a broader data migration initiative, ensuring continuity and clarity of insights during system transitions.
  • Translate complex data into easily understandable visual formats and narratives for business audiences.
  • Present insights and reporting outcomes clearly and confidently to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Identify data quality issues and collaborate with the data team to resolve them.
  • Take ownership of tasks and proactively identify areas for improvement in reporting and data visualization.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • 7+ years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in SQL and database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Proven ability to produce ad hoc and recurring reports under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting to business leaders and stakeholders.

  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data migration or modernization projects is a plus.
Should Have:
  • Certification in Power BI or related technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and their data services.
  • Experience in the Sales or Sales Analytics domain.
  • Background in supporting enterprise-level reporting systems and tools.
  • Understanding of other BI tools or platforms is a plus (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau, Excel, SSRS).
