Surgical Tech - Outpatient - City, ST

Overview
• Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care
• Unit/Department: Surgical Services
• Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift, Weekend Requirement

Requirements
• License: Pending State License accepted (Compact: No)
• Certs: BLS
• Experience: 1 Year Required
• EMR: Epic
• Compliance: Weeknight and weekend on-call required
• Locals: No
• RTO Policy: All RTO must be included at time of submission.

Responsibilities
• Prepare for surgical procedures by assembling the necessary instrument and supplies.
• Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and providing support.
• Ensure a sterile environment and maintain proper aseptic technique.
• Manage and organize the surgical instruments and supplies.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and nurses to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and assist in maintaining compliance with health regulations.
