Lead Windows Administrator with Security Clearance

The Lead Windows Administrator will oversee endpoint management, patching, encryption, and automation to ensure a secure and reliable user environment. Responsibilities include testing, validating, and deploying security patches; managing COTS/GOTS software deployments; and mitigating risks by addressing system vulnerabilities. The role requires strong collaboration with cybersecurity teams to align patching and endpoint security with enterprise policies. In addition, the Lead Windows Administrator will optimize workflows for device provisioning, encryption, and system management by leveraging automation tools such as PowerShell, SCCM, Intune, and Ansible. This role requires onsite presence in Washington, DC, five days a week and provides technical leadership in designing and maintaining robust workstation environments. Requirements: 5-8 years of experience in Windows administration and support. Certifications such as CompTIA A, MCSE, or equivalent. Expert-level skills in Windows workstation imaging, Active Directory, Group Policy, and patch management. Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and endpoint configuration management tools. Strong knowledge of security best practices, encryption tools, and recovery processes. Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms like MECM, Intune, M365, and Azure AD.
