The Budd Group is NOW HIRING a Full-Time Floor Technician for an educational campus in the Downtown area of Charleston

PERKS:
  • Monday through Friday (No Weekends)
  • Set Schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
  • Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
  • NEXT DAY PAY through Dayforce Wallet Mobile App

DUTIES:
  • Maintaining cleanliness of VCT, LVT, and some tile.
  • Operating floor cleaning machines such as buffers, strippers, and burnishers
  • Will be using the equipment to buff out scuff marks in flooring
  • Dust and wet mopping
  • Stripping and waxing during winter and summer breaks
  • Making sure all flooring is free of debris, dust, and dirt
  • All other duties will be assigned
RESTRICTIONS:
  • Must be able to walk on city sidewalks
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs for cleaning purposes
  • Bending, stooping, crouching and lifting up to 40 pounds
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidate must have prior experience with flooring, stripping, waxing and equipment. Candidates with no prior floor tech experience will not be contacted. This is not an entry level position.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
