Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks an SAP Implementation Project Manager (Business Analysis, Manager) to support a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) client at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River, MD and Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) at St. Inigoes, MD.

Most of the work performed under this contract shall be performed at client's facility. Telework may be permitted at the sole discretion of the client and must be approved in writing in advance.

This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a leader supporting Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Office (NBO) with Navy ERP deployment, sustainment and major upgrades at NAWCAD.
  • Support contract Program Manager with project management, scheduling, project documentation, risk management and financial system expertise.
  • Analyze project requirements in the areas of business and financial management including program scheduling, critical path analyses and project support requirement determination.
  • Direct impact studies, cost/benefit analyses, and dependency models.
  • Employs project tracking methodologies.
  • Performs additional task-related analyst / management functions to ensure successful task completion.
Travel

Temporary travel to other locations in support of program tasking may be required. If required, temporary travel locations include Washington D.C., Mechanicsburg, PA, China Lake, CA, Orlando, FL, Cherry Point, FL, Albany, GA, Jacksonville, FL, and San Diego, CA. This list is not all inclusive as locations may change over the life of the contract.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience providing project management for one of the following areas: Business Operations, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in project management for financial system implementations.
  • Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementations.
  • Proficiency with process mapping tools.
  • Must be a US Citizen
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Navy SAP-based financial system
  • Expertise with Navy financial and business processes such as acquisition, property management, financial accounting, working capital fund, workforce management, payroll or business intelligence.
  • Any industry relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma.
Education

BS or BA degree in a Business, Management or other relevant Business Field.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $115,000 - $145,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
