Certified Pharmacy Technician Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician Associate to join our dynamic pharmacy team. In this role, you will work closely with the pharmacist to assist in delivering quality pharmaceutical care to our customers while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacist in pharmacy operations and patient care by processing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems to manage patient and drug information.
- Engage customers with a warm welcome and provide exceptional assistance with products and services to enhance their experience.
- Support a positive customer interaction by resolving inquiries and showcasing outstanding customer service practices.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping and inventory management, ensuring all pharmacy supplies are stocked and organized.
- Assist in the quality assurance process by reporting any prescription errors and adhering to company policies.
- Handle cash transactions and assist customers with locating products in-store.
- Participate in continuous training to maintain PTCB certification and stay updated on healthcare advancements.
- Help with clinical services by collecting and labeling patient samples when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Preferably, experience in a retail pharmacy environment or with Walgreens.
- Basic math and computer skills are essential for accurate prescription filling and pharmacy operations.
