Join Headspace as a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer on our Web Acquisition Team, where you will play a critical role in building exceptional web experiences that extend access and monetize our offerings for D2C and SMB Channels. You'll contribute to prototyping, architecting, and developing our enterprise platform, crucial for its ongoing expansion. We welcome candidates with both full stack or back-end expertise.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical services.
  • Write code that is well-designed, testable, efficient, and high-performing.
  • Engage throughout the development lifecycle, from collaborating with product stakeholders to technical specifications and feature launches.
  • Build web applications and APIs primarily using Typescript/Node.js for our AWS-based services.
  • Create technical specifications and assess operational feasibility.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy services that operate at scale.

What You Will Bring:

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in software development, including building APIs, microservices, and microsites.
  • The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers in a remote environment.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, along with familiarity with CI/CD systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support sound decision-making on technical challenges.

Preferred Skills:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science with 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and Typescript.
  • Solid understanding of database management, object-oriented programming, and web application development.

Pay & Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this full-time position is $122,400 - $195,500, along with equity and benefits. Our salary varies based on job level and location in the U.S. Individual compensation will consider factors such as experience and skills. More details on specific salary ranges will be shared during the hiring process.
