Job Description:

We Are Seeking a Senior Information Technology Analyst to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level data warehouse applications on a Teradata-based platform. This role will serve as a senior technical contributor and team lead, coordinating work across multiple data warehouse teams on complex initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in SQL, business intelligence, and relational databases, along with the ability to translate business needs into high-performing data warehouse solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain data warehouse BI applications, including ETL processes, data marts, dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
• Coordinate and represent the team on complex, multi-team data warehouse projects.
• Review existing data warehouse policies and practices; recommend updates or propose new standards.
• Collaborate with data warehouse developers, data modelers, architects, DBAs, and business analysts to deliver optimized reporting solutions.
• Design physical data models aligned with logical designs to support reporting, performance, and analytical value.
• Ensure applications account for data reconciliation, query performance, security requirements, and audit standards.
• Lead and guide development staff by directing code development and providing technical mentorship.
• Evaluate opportunities for standardizing development processes and tools.
• Gather, analyze, and assess impacts of proposed changes, enhancements, or legislative requirements on existing IT solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts, project status, risks, and metrics clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Participate in project review meetings, technical review boards, and workgroups to present findings and recommendations.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Ensure proper change management practices for production fixes and enhancements.
• Review and approve test plans, ensuring all required security controls are incorporated.
• Support project estimation, budgeting, and planning activities.

Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education.
• 6+ years of experience developing data warehouse BI solutions, including ETL, reporting, dashboards, and analytics platforms.
• Strong SQL expertise and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with Teradata tools such as SQL Assistant or Teradata Studio.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather requirements, identify problems, and recommend solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
