Our portfolio includes parking structures, hospitals, educational facilities, hotels, office buildings, high-rise residential projects, shopping centers, and military projects. We serve our clients from our corporate headquarters in Valencia, CA and our regional office in San Diego, CA. Our primary service area is Southern California; however, we work throughout the West Coast and including California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada.
Position Description
JT Wimsatt is looking for motivated Carpenters to join our team. Whether you are an experienced journeyman or a 1st period apprentice, or anything in-between, consider joining a great team working on high-profile projects in the San Diego area. As a JT Wimsatt Carpenter, you will:
- Perform within scope of work on some of the most exciting structural concrete jobs in San Diego
- Work with an established crew of Journeymen, Foreman, and Superintendents
- Receive continued training and guidance from industry experts
- And much more
- Current Southwest Carpenters union member in good standing, OR
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen/physical
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States upon an offer of employment and/or hired
- At least 18 years old
- Have your own tools, subject to union rules
