Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for clients and families, creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Offer tailored outpatient individual and family therapy that addresses the unique needs of each client, guiding them towards healing and resilience.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to empower clients on their mental health journeys.
• Engage in case consultations and agency meetings while contributing your insights to enhance overall client care.
• Ensure prompt completion of billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, maintaining high professional standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and fellow therapists to deliver holistic mental health care.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Possession of a provisional license, if required by state regulations.
• Educational background aligned with professional licensing requirements.
• Strong passion for mental health and dedication to delivering high-quality care.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, including access to free supervision and ongoing education opportunities.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Adherence to ethical practices and confidentiality standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Effective time management skills to handle documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

At Columbia Mental Health, we are committed to fair compensation practices. The base compensation for this position ranges from $47 to $55 per billable unit, with actual compensation influenced by licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and available incentives. These standards may evolve to align with our organizational goals.
