About the Role

As our Compliance Analyst, you will assist with maintaining the quality and accuracy across our clinical documentation, coding, and billing processes. You'll conduct meaningful audits, identify opportunities for improvement, and help educate our team to maintain the gold standard in hospice care compliance. This isn't just about checking boxes-it's about ensuring every detail supports our mission of dignified, compassionate care.

What You'll Do

Drive Quality Through Auditing:
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of clinical documentation, medical coding, and billing processes
  • Perform targeted reviews to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Create detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations and follow-up plans
  • Monitor new hires during their probationary period to set them up for success
  • Work on site to support the team
Champion Regulatory Excellence:
  • Educate staff on documentation standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support survey readiness and assist with state, federal, and accreditation surveys
  • Help orient new clinical staff on proper documentation practices
  • Respond to government audits with thorough, well-organized record reviews
Foster a Culture of Compliance:
  • Collaborate with the team to execute annual audit plans
  • Identify risk areas and develop innovative audit programs
  • Develop and deliver engaging compliance education
  • Support performance improvement initiatives across the organization
What We're Looking For

Experience & Credentials:
  • Minimum 2 years in compliance, coding/auditing, or clinical settings
  • Hospice experience strongly preferred
  • CPC or similar certification strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license with required insurance

  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and electronic medical record systems

  • Deep understanding of and commitment to hospice philosophy
  • Compassionate approach to working with terminally ill patients and families
  • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work on site, not remotely
  • Flexibility to adapt your schedule to meet business needs
