W2 Hourly Contract Only

Rate Range: $55.00 - $68.00 with limited benefits

We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for an Advanced Software Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ to work on a real-time embedded project. The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex systems problems by analyzing both code and UML models used for code generation.

  • Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols.
  • Knowledge of cellular telecommunications protocols and systems (UMTS) a plus


REQUIREMENTS
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Experience in software engineering, with a focus on real-time embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
  • Strong understanding of UML and experience with model-based design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
