About The Position
Job Title: Special Procedures Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years License: Current licensure by the applicable State Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: The Interventional Radiology Tech is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures. This role involves patient assessment, education, preparation for procedures, monitoring during interventions, and post-procedure recovery and discharge. The IR Tech collaborates closely with providers and other health care professionals to ensure safe, high quality, and patient-centered care. Description: The Interventional Radiology Tech plays a vital role in the patient care process. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, ensuring equipment is in working order, and maintaining a safe environment for patients. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Compassionate care and attention to detail are essential to provide the best outcomes for patients.
