About The Position
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Med Tech Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: ARRT-NM or CNMT required Must-Have Skills/Experience: Ability to perform all general nuclear medicine exams. Experience with cardiac exams. Experience with PET/CT exams. Description: The purpose of the unit profile is to provide an understanding of the unit. The unit typically handles a variety of imaging exams. Daily average workload includes multiple NM hearts and PET exams. The equipment used includes Siemens PET and gamma cameras. The workload requires proficiency in both general nuclear medicine and specialized exams. Candidates should be motivated to work in a team-oriented environment. A professional appearance is important, with specified dress code requirements. The facility sees a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases, along with some requests from emergency departments. The ideal candidate will have experience with specific equipment related to nuclear medicine.
