Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 6-Month Contract | Pueblo, CO

Job Type: Contract (24 weeks)

Hours: Full-Time | 48 hrs/week | 4x12 shifts

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a psychiatric hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stability, competitive pay, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in behavioral health care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, LPN/LVN, or other licensed medical professional

  • Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort

  • Support individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation

Contract Details

  • Length: 24 weeks (6 months)

  • Schedule: 48 hours/week (4x12s)

  • Orientation: 40 hours over first 2 weeks

  • Floating: Candidates expected to float within different units

Requirements

  • Active Colorado CNA license (must be in hand)

  • 1 year of inpatient psychiatric experience required

  • Graduate of an accredited CNA program

  • Current CPR certification

  • TB screening and health certificate per state regulations

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
