About the Job

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies, with a primary focus on venous insufficiency mapping, carotid, arterial Doppler, AAA doppler and venous DVT examinations. This role requires strong technical expertise, patient-focused care, and collaboration with physicians and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform venous reflux studies and post vein ablation mapping.
  • Conduct carotid duplex ultrasound examinations.
  • Perform arterial Doppler studies (upper and lower extremities).
  • Perform venous duplex ultrasound for DVT evaluation.
  • Accurately obtain, analyze, and document ultrasound images and measurements.
  • Assist physician during vein ablation procedures as needed.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout examinations.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow quality assurance protocols.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies.
  • Communicate findings clearly and professionally with providers.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology program.
  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) required.
  • ARDMS or CCI certification.
  • Minimum [1-2+] years of vascular ultrasound experience, including venous reflux studies.
  • Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and pathology.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
