Job Description & Requirements

  • M-F 0630-1500 with call requirement
    On Call Requirement: alternate between primary and secondary which equals about 2 days of call through 7 days and that also means about every 4th weekend in some capacity.

    • NBSTSA Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) required
    • 2 years of scrubbing experience in an operating room setting
    • BLS certification required
    • Good communication skills
    High School diploma or equivalency - Required
    Certification and registration as a Certified Surgical Technologist - Required

    "Responsible for planning and preparing for the surgical procedure and assisting the surgeon. Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and to assemble scheduled and emergency case carts."
