Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Join our dynamic team as an Internal Medicine - Cardiology provider and take part in delivering exceptional non-invasive cardiology care. This role offers a chance to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient follow-up and continuity of care, contributing to long-term health outcomes.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing a panel of cardiology patients, conducting comprehensive non-invasive procedures, and providing expert clinical judgment. The role requires holding an active supervising license to oversee Physician Assistants and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. We are looking for candidates committed to a long-term engagement, with a minimum availability of three weeks per month, and open to four-day clinic weeks.

Required Skills:

• Valid state medical license with supervision privileges
• Certification in cardiology or related field
• Strong clinical skills in non-invasive cardiology procedures
• Ability to build and manage a patient panel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Eligibility to hold supervising physician status and oversee Physician Assistants

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in outpatient cardiology clinic settings
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
• Prior experience supervising Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners
• Advanced certifications or training in cardiology

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Cardiology
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical practice in cardiology
• Prior employment in outpatient cardiology clinics

Other Requirements:

• Active supervising license in the state of practice
• Ability to commit to at least three weeks per month
• Willingness to participate in a scheduled Zoom call on Thursday, 1/8 at 1:30 CST
• Reliable access to teleconferencing technology
• Willingness to work in a team-based environment with a focus on patient-centered care
